We have an opening for Cook (63200) at our “Ambiyan” restaurant (2116973 Ontario Inc) located at 149 Main Street, Unionville, ON L3R 2G8. A fast-paced environment for a team-oriented person. Responsibilities will include preparing food for in restaurant and take out while following all food safety guidelines and product standards.

Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: Completion of Secondary school or equivalent experience.
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Cuisine: East Indian

Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions
• Estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Inspect kitchens and foodservice areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment,
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Organize and manage buffets and banquets
