Doug Tarry Homes has an opening for Construction labourer and Helper (Noc 75110) who will work with our construction crew and support the team. If you have what it takes to be successful in this line of work, then this is the right position for you. We need a person with right attitude who can support our team and grow our business even further.
As a Construction Labourer and Helper (Noc 75110), you will perform all or some of the following duties:
• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
• Assist heavy equipment operators
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
• Assist in demolishing buildings
• Clean and pile salvaged materials
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
Education Qualifications: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Experience an asset
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Work under pressure, Overtime required
Personal Suitability: Accurate, Dependability, Reliability, Team Player
Work site environment: Outdoors, Noisy, Dusty
Work setting: Construction site
Terms of employment: Full Time / Permanent (30 to 40 hours / week)
Compensation: CAD $24/hour
