Active Pilates Inc. is currently looking for a Full-time Finance Vice-President in our Richmond Hill, Toronto, Ontario Location. The selected candidate will be expected to perform the following job duties:
- Set financial objectives for the company and develop or approve financial policies and programs.
- Authorize and organize the creation of key financial departments and senior financial staff positions.
- Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement financial strategies and programs; establish robust financial and administrative controls; approve budgeting plans and financial forecasts; and oversee overall financial personnel planning.
- Select middle managers, directors, or other senior financial executives.
- Coordinate the financial operations across regions, divisions, or departments.
- Represent the company, or appoint representatives, in financial negotiations or other official financial functions.
Skill Requirement:
- Minimum a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; a Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in Finance, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong strategic financial planning and analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, financial reporting, and risk management.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
