Our company is looking for an Installation & Move Supervisor:
Responsibilities -
- The successful candidate should have 2 years' credible experience.
- Firm understanding of various furniture systems such as Teknion, Herman Miller, Knoll, Steelcase, Global, Krug, etc.
- Firm understanding of case goods furniture.
- Firm understanding of flat pack furniture.
- Evaluate training necessities of staff; then set up for or give suitable guidance.
- Prepare and keep up with work records and reports that incorporate data from the job, for example, employee times, job details, day to day receipts, equipment management, vehicle management etc.
- Advise assigned representatives or divisions regarding all aspects & job requirements, goals, timelines etc.
- Report all job details including following-up details for the office in a timely manner.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients as well as employees & Ability to be Team Leader
- Ability to problem solve, fix or repair furniture related problems as they occur in a timely & professional manner.
- Firm understanding of how to read blueprints & renderings to have job reflect the proposed.
- Ability to set up jobs with the required tools, equipment, parts, vehicles etc.
- Ability to reconfigure on the spot & understand space planning to present solutions to clients.
- Possess quality tools.
- Firm understanding of safe operations of hand & power tools.
- Ability to effectively use 2-wheel dollies, 4-wheel dollies, screen cart, open bin, term cart etc.
- Ability to efficiently pad wrap furniture chairs misc. items for the purpose of protection.
- Ability to shrink wrap various items.
- Ability to pack & load the truck.
- Ability to secure loads on the truck or other vehicles.
- Understand and execute time management, enforce & maintain within the crew.
- Ability to lead & see jobs through in an efficient & effective manner.
