(Japanese Charcoal Grill Diner(s)) is looking for two Assistant Manager(s); for a salary of; $34.10 per hour for 30.0 hours per week to work at two location(s); (o/a) “Zakkushi on Queen W” at 620 Queen Street West, Toronto Ontario and (o/a) “Zakkushi on Carlton” at 193 Carlton Street, Toronto Ontario.
Qualifications;
• A minimum of two year or more of supervisory experience at a full-service restaurant is required
• Must have excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and overtime as assigned
• Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods
• Completion of secondary (high) school is required
• Proficiency in oral and written English is required

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant including employee scheduling and inventory management
• Assist the General Manager in interviewing and selecting front end and kitchen staff.
• Assist with hiring and training new employees ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their duties effectively
• Ensure exceptional customer service by training and coaching staff on proper service techniques, resolving customer complaints and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally, and report to the Geneal Manager when required.
• Analyze staff performance and provide feedback to improve the customer’s experience.
• Maintain high standards of food quality and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Supervise and support restaurant staff including servers and kitchen staff by providing ongoing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including dining areas, restrooms, and kitchen facilities, to create safe and welcoming environment for both staff and customers.
• Complete all necessary daily reports at the end of each shift.
• In the absence of the General Manager carry out the duty’s daily operation of the restaurant, when required.
• Any other duties requested by the General Manager.
