Job Description

Language: English required
Education: No degree, certificate of diploma
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding; Attention to detail; Standing for extended periods; Bending, crouching, kneeling
Personal Suitability: Dependability, Reliability
Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs), More than 45 kg (100 lbs)
Animal Specialization: Horses, Thoroughbred horses

Tasks:
• Horse grooming;
• Bathing/shampooing;
• Clean stables and stalls;
• Prepare food and feed animals;
• Monitor and document animal behaviour;
• Report horse injury/illness to trainer;
• Prepare horses for training and racing.
